Procrastination has been my biggest enemy to getting a decent amount of writing. There are often times that I’ll spend countless hours on the net, and not much writing will get done. The main source of distraction has been the BlogExplosion ShoutBox, a little chat room where a nice little community of bloggers gather to waste time. Well the other day, they upgraded the software for this and as a result, my shitty little computer won’t let me participate. This has left me at a loss.

Now I really don’t have much of an excuse to not write. I’m still mad on forums, but there is so much time without this little distraction. Maybe I’ll get more blogging done too I have to really try to write some more. I’ve been participating in The Blog Advance forum’s weekly word prompts and writing little short stories, and I usually end up with something I can be proud of. I did one tonight and it was pretty good if I say so myself. Though, I haven’t touched my novel since Friday night.
