woohoo! I’m first! An interesting list of movies. Did you happen to see the special that the SciFi channel had on Waverly Sanatorium tonight? It’s the documentary that came out of the filming of the movie The Death Tunnel.
Good list. I’ve seen a few of those films and like them a lot. Interestingly, some horror films made their way onto my T13 list, too.
Jayne, I’m sorry, I don’t have cable down here in Australia. Don’t you guys have the horror channel? I’d love that.
Wow . . . I haven’t seen a single movie on your list. I’m kind of a chicken when it comes to scary movies.
Not a one. I saw Psycho and that cured me.
My TT is up.
Yeah, I almost commented on the next thing, whoops! Haven’t seen any of your movies, but I don’t care for horror — I’ve got the evening news for that!
Uisce, it’s good to know my warning worked.
I’ve watched Saw and Saw 2 after another at the same time, I couldnt sleep at night, too gory! I dont really like horror movie but i’ve watched the ring and Ju-on. The all time horror movie that I could never forgot and still make me scared is IT, the clown just kind of freak me out.
Happy Thursday. mine is up.
I’ve seen IT and read the book. While it was creepy, I wasn’t scared. The book, however was freaking frightening.
Hi Benjamin … we joined at the same time so thought I’d pop by. I am not a horror movie fan and have only seen Poltergeist out of the movies on your list… I have such a vivid imagination that ‘horrorific’ sights stay with me for ever and give me the heebiejeebies! But I do like psychological-type thrillers although the film ‘Seven’ has given me horrible lasting visions!
You have excellent taste in horror, my friend. The Machinist was great. I have yet to see Session 9 but I will put it on my list.
I’ll have to take your word for it, I can’t watch them, cuz I’m a’scared.
Fred, thank you, my friend. It’s not a bad list. I’d like to get them all on DVD (I already have Session 9 and Ju-On.)
I just watched ‘Boo.’ Review will be coming soon.
I only saw Poltergiest. Not a fan of horror.
Who the heck is the guy with the beard?
My 13 are obeying the speed limit.
Colleen, that is no other than Karl Marx. It’s the default gravatar.
I loves me some horror flicks!! This is a great list – although I didn’t thing Skeleton Key was as scary as it could have been (but I am not a film maker so what do I know..hehe).
Great List – I played too
Aliens freaked me out the most. The characters did everything right and still got whacked.
Cheeky: True, Skeleton Key was down on actual scare factor, but the story was really strong and I had been thinking about using mirrors in one of my own stories
K T Cat: I’ve never seen Aliens. That’s my everlasting shame, until I actually see it, of course.
I have never seen Session 9, The Machinist or Dead Birds. Or the Japanese version of The Grudge. That was a pretty freaking show! Great list!
Ohhhhhhhhh, I love movies. And these on your list are all great.
Have you seen the new remake of OMEN? AND!!–if you love horror movies, try watching the Trilogy of Terror, it’s now on DVD. Great one (especially the LAST of the trilogy)
Drop by mine and pick up a T 13 banner if you want! I made ‘em for the blogrollers!!
I don’t like horror flicks, but I do love Poltergist! Seven scared me to death. I think it would have been a better book.
Hide and Seek, was a little scary! It’s the only one I’ve seen on your list. We rented UnderWorld Evolution. Too much horror for me!
Happy Thursday!:P Mine’s on movie quotes, if you have time to stop by!
Horror movies scares me; so I’ve never seen any of these.
Don’t like horror movies much … and only seen Poltergeist from your list. Don’t know if it counts as part of the genre but i found the film ‘Seven’ was pretty horrifying! Still haunts me even now.
